Live Long CrossFit's head coach and owner is Audrey Waters. Audrey quickly found a passion for CrossFit when her college soccer days were over and aimlessly going to the gym and running just weren't enough. Having a supportive community, pushing oneself further mentally and physically, along with an atmosphere of friendly competition are the main reasons why she decided to open her own gym to spread her love of functional fitness to others. She has been an avid CrossFitter since 2012, has competed in many local CrossFit competitions, participated in The CrossFit Open, has coached high school soccer, and is a certified CrossFit Level 1 trainer.

Hi! My name is Allison Hill. I have been personal training/ coaching group classes for a little over two years now. I graduated in 2018 from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in exercise science. I am CPR/first aid certified, as well as NASM certified. I began CrossFit to fill the void I had from high school competitive sports. After my very first WOD I was hooked. The camaraderie in the box was what I had been missing from team sports. That’s when I knew I wanted to pursue CrossFit myself and help people who also wanted to get that sense of community, competition, and get healthier all at the same time. In my spare time I love to get crafty and hangout with my dog, Moose! I have been personally doing CrossFit for a little over three years now.

Desiree is an owner of Live Long CrossFit and CF-L1 trainer. She has been been active in CrossFit since 2015. She grew up active in sports, specifically achieving many awards in track and Field. After finding CrossFit she discovered her love for changing women’s mentality on physical fitness and health. She has struggled with body image issues and low self-esteem before finding CrossFit and wants to help coach others into their successes.

Her favorite part of CrossFit is the people. She has met many people who will become lifelong friends. Without them she says it would be hard to get through some of the tough workouts and they are always there cheering you on.

Holly began her CrossFit journey in early 2019 but has been a competitive athlete since the age of 5. Extensive cheerleading and gymnastics training led her to 2 High School state championships for competitive cheer, and full ride scholarships to college where she earned 2nd place at UCA Nationals in 2009. After college Holly co-founded, directed and coached a competitive Allstar cheerleading gym where she taught athletes from 3 – 25 years of age. Holly has a total of 17+ years of coaching experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, and STUNT; and is now broadening her coaching abilities to CrossFit.

Other than CrossFit, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 beautiful daughters. She is most grateful for finding her way into the CrossFit world because of the positive impact it has had on her mental and physical health, and for the amazing friends she has made at Live Long CrossFit. Holly's credentials include her CF-L1 and she is CPR and First-Aid certified.

Karen began her CrossFit journey in February 2019, after running on and off for many years, and competing in equestrian sport since she was a child. She was looking for a form of fitness that would challenge her, but that she would stay motivated to participate in regularly, and CrossFit definitely has provided both of these!

Karen has a Ph.D. in Sports Psychology from Michigan State University, where she works as an instructor in the Animal Science Department. She has a strong interest in helping Masters athletes and those who are just starting out in CrossFit. Live Long CrossFit hasn’t just motivated her to participate regularly, but also has provided her with “life long” friends! She has CPR and First Aid certification.

Favorite CrossFit Movements: deadlifts, sit-ups and running.
